Through

This makes no sense, but this little cottage gate reminds me of the children's book, We're Going on a Bear Hunt. In the book, the children repeatedly chant that they have to go "through" some obstacle. And that's what I see here, the chance to go through the gate. (I warned you it makes no sense!) : )
