To the Cabin

After a little hiatus from the studio, I thoroughly enjoyed bringing this scene to life. I started off thinking this cabin would be surrounded by woods, but once I added that yellow in the patches of light in the grass, I just had to let them be, so made it a prairie cabin instead. I love it when paintings change direction like that.
