Summer is just starting to seem like an actual possibility here in Michigan, so the doors and windows are open, and the breeze is whirling through the house. For this painting, I wanted the breeze to be met by an old book and some fresh flowers. So many things change from old to new, past to future, but for me, a summer breeze is always welcomed.
