I can't decide if this fluffy blue bird is just a little feisty or downright pissed off. Either way, I like him.
I used a new surface for this painting—a wood canvas that lets a lot of the grain show through. It gives a more rugged feel to this painting, which I think helps the blue bird stand out even more.
