Parker at the Ready

I've enjoyed painting some summer landscapes recently, but it's never long before I return to more whimsical paintings. And our dog Parker was the perfect subject for this one. I tried to capture his regal air and his propensity to always be on the watch, while keeping it light and fun. (He'd probably be mortified that I'm posting this to social media.)
