There's nothing like waking up to a fresh coat of snow...except maybe when the sun weaves its way through the forest to bounce off that fresh snow and land safely in a woodsy stream. I love how sun on snow brings such amazing color to an otherwise monochromatic scene. I took that notion and went a little wild with it in this colorful winter scene.
